Originally from Canton, Ohio, Matthew Kraus headed eastward as a young man, and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater Arts from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 2007, Matt returned to Ohio to earn a Master of Fine Arts Degree at Ohio University School of Film in Athens. While in his home state, Matt produced and co-directed the 2008 documentary exposé How Ohio Pulled It Off. Matt is currently back on the eastern seaboard , seeking his fortune in metropolis, paying the rent as a location sound mixer in New York City. He enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, and pondering the human condition.
